“My God. What if it was something small and with teeth like in the movie, ‘Critters’? What if it was an outlaw alien that ate people? Aw, think stupid.”

“If it were an outlaw alien, it wouldn’t have settled for just taking a swipe at you.”

Patrick bent over and shimmied back into his tent. He was starting to feel pretty hot from his running around and from being under his sleeping bag with his clothes on. He unzipped his pants and pulled them down his legs. It smelled of something he had smelled before.

He placed the pants by his face and took a whiff.

“Smell reminds me of Mom.”

It reminded him also of school.
